We are very pleased to announce that this year's Symposium will return to the newly remodelled conference suite at the Royal College of Physicians on Queen Street.
As in previous years we will be presenting a showcase of the world-class infectious disease research in Edinburgh, and very much hope that you will be able to join us. There is no charge for attendance.
Poster presentations
One of the highlights of the symposium are the poster sessions. We encourage all students and postdocs to bring posters, and there will prizes of £100 for the best posters presented in each category.

We are delighted that Professor Sharon Peacock from University College London will give the Ker Memorial Lecture.
Closing drinks reception
The day will close with a drinks reception, to which all are most warmly invited.

No-shows
To help with managing participant numbers, please cancel your booking through Eventbrite at least 48 h before the symposium if you are no longer able to attend.
Registered participants who fail to show up on the day without informing the organisers will be charged £20 to cover costs.
